Rubens' landscape drawings: sketches in the open air

At this talk at the Rubenium in Antwerp, An Van Camp, Curator of Northern European Art at the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, University of Oxford, talks about Rubens’ interest in and love of nature as expressed by his plein-air sketches. Many of these sketches went on to inform his paintings.
