The Prado Summerschool

Launched in 2009 to support the training of future curators and museum technicians, the Prado Summerschool offers 30 funded places to final year, postgraduate and PhD students in art history for an intensive 3-day programme about the collection of the museum as well as its conservation and managagment. Lectures and seminars are given by staff and external professionals. The Summerschool aspires to be an international reference centre for training and research on pre-20th century art,. and to provide a significant complement to the training offer of Spanish universities. Applications are open from 23 April to 23 May.
