The Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris’ new exhibition invites you to discover the perfumes of the Orient and their history. Along a route of more than 1000 square metres, mixing ancient and contemporary works, punctuated with surprising odorous devices and scents specially created by the perfumer Christopher Sheldrake, an invitation to see – and to smell – how much, from the High Atlas to the shores of the Indian Ocean, fragrances have always constituted an essential dimension of Arab culture.

The exhibition is running from September 26, 2023 - March 17, 2024. Tickets are available here.
