Rachel Kneebone: 399 Days

399 Days  is one of several sculptures by Rachel Kneebone (b.1973) now on display in the 18th-century Chapel at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The exhibition is named after the length of time it took Kneebone to make the principal work which is over five-metres high and comprises 63 exterior panels. It echoes historic sculptures such as Trajan’s Column, a plaster cast of which is displayed in the sculpture court of the V&A, where 399 Days was also shown from 2017-2019.
