Re-Opening in Seattle: The Asian Art Museum
Seattle, on America’s west coast, has a rich collection of Asian Art, displayed since 1994 in the city’s Asian Art Museum (SAAM) in Volunteer Park. After being closed for a spectacular three-year renovation, and a short-lived pre-COVID re-opening in February 2020, SAAM is again re-opening to members on 7 May and to the public on 28 May. The collection includes works from 2500 BCE to the present day from China, Korea, Japan, India, the Himalayas, and West, Central and Southeast Asia.
