About the encounter between visual and performing arts in the European festive culture of the 16th to 18th centuries
From real life into the world of art is a virtual exhibition, which describes itself as offering an experience midway between a scientific publication and an interactive presentation, with 15 narratives relating to historical festivals, entries, operas, ballets and artworks of particular significance within the history of art and the performing arts. The exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the University of Málaga, Vienna’s Theatre Museum and the Department of Visual Media of the Kunsthistorischesmuseum Wien.
